TAKU ITO man-cave shoot with Bassmaster

August 11, 2021  •  5 Comments

I get special photography requests for different types of jobs all the time; but when Bassmaster Magazine sent a request to shoot our, newly-forming fishing legend, Taku Ito, I jumped at the opportunity. We did a man-cave shoot at his stall in Dalton, Ga.  After spending just a few hours with Taku, I realized this guy has something special.  His laughable and relaxed personality made this photo shoot so much easier.  Some of the secrets that we did not share in this gallery, I will carry to my grave.  Thank you Taku!

When the creative juices start to flow, I sometimes get carried away.  Taku had hundreds of rods in the corner of his man-cave; and I saw that as a really cool photo-op.  I wanted to do an artistic shot that shows his contagious and happy personality but with the seriousness of an Bassmaster Elite angler.
