Big Bite Charters with Andrew HammondCurrently due to COVID, we are boatless! So when one of the best striper guides on Lake Lanier, Andrew Hammond, calls you and says, " hey Shane, I've got a cancellation tomorrow, do you want to go," well the answer is heck yeah. Well I might have actually said the other "h" word just from pure excitement. Andrew said they are biting, so make sure you bring a friend. I called up Jimmy "The Fluke Masta" Sanders; and I said let's get it son! Believe it or not, this was the first time in my entire life I have ever dropped live bait on stripers; and it will not be the last. Sit back, crack open a cold one, and open your hunnybun, maybe not in that exact order. What a blast we had! You just don't ever know what you are going to catch with herring. We caught stripers, spotted bass and even a channel catfish which ended up on my dinner table. That cat by the way had a chunk of spearmint gum in it's belly. Now that was a first! If you are looking for fun time out on Lake Lanier during this time off, give Andrew a call.
